On May 15, 2015, Taitong Logistics launched the "Guangzhou-Beijing" X2782 special railway express, which is the first special railway train in China, shortening the journey of this line to less than 50 hours. Since then, eight domestic special railway express were opened one after another, with an annual freight volume of 500,000 tons.
