On the morning of December 12, the opening ceremony of the "China ASEAN multimodal transport international train" jointly constructed by the Management Committee of Honghe area of China (Yunnan) pilot free trade zone and Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd. was held in Baoding, Hebei Province.

At the ceremony, Xie Lingyun, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Honghe area, delivered an online speech. The ceremony was presided over by Huang Hua, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Honghe area. The person in charge of Lianchi District Bureau of Commerce of Baoding city and more than 30 enterprises attended the opening ceremony.

The "China ASEAN international multimodal transport train" was officially launched.

Xie Lingyun said in his speech that the "China ASEAN multimodal transport international train" jointly developed by Honghe Area Management Committee and Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd. will further promote the linkage development of Yunnan, Beijing Tianjin Hebei and the Yangtze River economic belt, deepen wider and deeper exchanges and cooperation with South and Southeast Asia, and become an important channel connecting ASEAN, Central Asia and Europe.

Subsequently, the leaders and enterprise representatives witnessed the official departure of the "China ASEAN international multimodal transport train".

The "China ASEAN international multimodal transport train" was officially launched. 

It is reported that the overall route of "China ASEAN multimodal transport international train" is: xiong'an Baoding Station - Kunming - Hekou (Vietnam old street) port - ASEAN receiving place, with a total length of about 3500 kilometers. Xiong'an (Baoding) - Kunming - Hekou - Laojie - Hanoi - Haiphong line has been planned in advance, and xiong'an (Baoding) - Kunming Mohan (Laos, Thailand) and xiong'an (Baoding) - Kunming Ruili (Myanmar) lines will be added in the future. Its goods mainly come from the surrounding areas of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, covering clothing bags, shoes and hats, cotton yarn, furniture hardware, electronic products, section steel, auto parts, wire mesh, daily necessities, equipment and accessories, etc.

Huang Hua, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Honghe area, introduced that the official opening of the train has a direct role in promoting the construction of a trade center facing ASEAN and a land border port logistics hub in Honghe area to undertake industrial transfer in developed areas. After the train is officially launched, Honghe district will accelerate the construction of cross-border logistics center, market procurement and Trade Center, vigorously promote the development platform projects such as electronic information industrial park and textile and garment industrial park, and build the cargo train into a cooperative train, development train and win-win train.

"China China ASEAN one belt, one road, international train" is the key to the integration of Honghe area and the "one belt and one way" construction. It is also an important measure to build Yunnan into the radiation center of Southeast Asia, and to promote the development of Honghe area with high standard and high quality. It will expand the trade capacity and open up new trade and economic relations between China and ASEAN, and promote the development of China ASEAN Economic and trade relations with Southeast Asia.
