Mr. Kiryl Rudy, the ambassador of Belarus to China, warmly received the delegation of Baoding Municipal Government in the Belarusian Embassy in China on the afternoon of November 27.

The delegation was led by Xie Peng, Deputy Secretary General of the Baoding Municipal People's government, and other members were from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Foreign Affairs Office and Customs in Baoding, and Chu Xuan ,the chairman of Baoding City the Belt and Road Trade Promotion Association,as well as the chairman of Taitong Company.This visit mainly discusses the establishment of the exhibition hall of Belarusian quality products in the Beijing- Tianjin- Baoding International Smart port.It is hoped that taking advantage of this opportunity to deepen cooperation between China and Belarus ,it will also provide an important opportunity for Baoding to step onto the international stage.

For this cooperation, both sides have shown positive intentions and very happy to promote such cooperation. After that, the two sides made in-depth exchanges and determined some plans on the construction location,requirements and management issues of the exhibition hall.

It is very advantageous to establish an international product exhibition and trading area in Baoding. Baoding is located in the core area of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, only 120 kilometers away from Beijing, the traffic is very convenient. Xiong’an as the first national level new area issued by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council,it is also located in the east of Baoding city. Beijing-Tianjin- Baoding International Smart port is a key construction project of Baoding City, which will be built into the banner project of intelligent international trade logistics hub in North China. Taitong International Transport Co., Ltd was the one of the first private company to take part in the Belt and Road construction. The first international freight train was opened in 2016 to the capital of Minsk in Belarus,it is one of the international freight train opened by Taitong International Company. The first batch of international freight trains from North China was shipped to the first batch of construction materials in the Great Stone Industrial Park, and directly participated in the communication between China and Belarus.

What Kiryl Rudy said is that as the number of the Belt and Road country, the total export of agricultural products in Belarus has reached 6 billion US dollars, and the prospect of cooperation between Belarus and China is very promising. Baoding has a large population and a broad market, so it is very optimistic about the future of setting up the exhibition hall in Baoding. After learning about the development of Baoding city and the construction of Beijing- Tianjin- Baoding International Smart port project, Mr. Rudy also hopes that in addition to trading, the two sides can also strengthen interaction and cooperation in promoting investment and other fields to further deepen friendship.

In a friendly atmosphere, Mr. Rudy invited the participants to attend the Belarus Coming for Asia Investment Forum held on December 11, and hoped that the project could be smoothly promoted with the support of Baoding Municipal government. He planned to invite the delegation to visit Belarus after the Spring Festival. The delegation also sincerely invited Mr. Rudy to Baoding for a visit. The talks were a complete success.
