On 30th june, A ‘rail-sea intermodal’ train departed from Jing-Xiong-Bao International Smart Port(Baoding)successfully.After reached its destination Qinhuangdao port container terminal, the train will transfer the loading containers with the help of dock operation equipment to the "new tulip" ship sailing to port Incheon, South Korea.We called this whole move“railway container launching”,which means the train can directly arrives at the shipping port to help with containers on board more quickly.Meanwhile ,it created the first precedent in the field of foreign trade in Hebei Province.Here,we appreciated the precise guidance of Hebei Provincial Development and Hebei Reform Commission; the strong support of Baoding Municipal Party committee、Baoding Municipal Government、 Railway and other departments.

This train is jointly operated by Qinren shipping, Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd. and China Railway International Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch. “Bao-Qin-Railway-Ocean Express Line ”has been continuously optimized and innovated since it was officially opened in September last year. The "railway container launching"access solves the problems of high transportation costs and poor reverse loading efficiency in further. What it means is that customers can directly use  local railway containers to load goods, transport to the loading port and transfer on board.Compared to the past operation system, the new model eliminates many loading processes.

The one-way "Jing- Xiong-Bao International Smart Port (Baoding) - Qinhuangdao Port"distance normally saves 3-5 days, which greatly improves the transportation efficiency. It is expected to save more than 1300¥ per container through the way. "Railway Container Launching" is a major upgrade of the ‘Railway-Ocean’ transport mode, which truly realizes the seamless connection between inland ports and coastal ports, and opens up a new model for local goods to ocean transport by more "efficient, green, low-carbon and low-cost"way.
