At 10:10 a.m. on June 2, with the sound of the siren, the first Shijiazhuang China Europe train loaded with goods started from Shijiazhuang freight center business department of Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd. to Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The opening of Shijiazhuang's first China- European train will accelerate Shijiazhuang's integration into the "One Belt and One Road" and open up a new international logistics channel between Shijiazhuang and Europe.

This is the first China-Europe train

China-Europe Trains refers to the freight train from China to Europe. Shijiazhuang Minsk China Europe train is jointly organized by Shijiazhuang freight center of Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd., China Railway Container Co., Ltd. and Hebei Taitong Logistics Co., Ltd. The first train, which consists of 41 containers, is loaded with diesel engines, fishing gear, valves, shoes and hats, furniture, etc. it starts from Shijiazhuang and leaves the country passing by Manzhouli. After about 12 days, it reaches Volsinor station in Moscow, and then it runs for about 3 days to Koriyakic station in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The whole journey is about 9600 km, and the operation time is about 15 days.

At the same time, the return journey starts from the Coriaki station, passes through the Walsino station, Yekaterinburg station and Novosibirsk station to Shijiazhuang, and will carry the wood products of Belarus and surrounding countries. The preliminary plan is to open 20 trains a year, and it is estimated that 30000 tons of materials will be transported back and forth. The train adopts 40 foot container transportation, and the whole transportation time is 70% shorter than that of traditional shipping. It provides specialized packing scheme for different goods, and receives door-to-door logistics services. Once the exit formalities are completed, the documents are professionalized, the customs clearance service is provided, the goods on the train arrive at Minsk will be arranged to the public overseas warehouse by preferential use of the organization party, and can distribute the goods to all the EU CIS countries, which is safe, efficient, economic and convenient.

The opening of the China-European train is the Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee and the municipal government to speed up the integration of the "One Belt and One Road" construction, deepen economic and trade cooperation with important cities along the line, and open up the "Logistics Corridor", and actively build a major strategic decision for a comprehensive opening up of the new pattern. In 2017, Shijiazhuang's foreign trade exports increased by 47 billion 970 million yuan, an increase of 12.5% over the same period last year. Among them, exports to the countries along the "One Belt and One Road" were 2 billion 490 million US dollars, grew up by 7.2% over the same period last year, accounting for 35.1% of the total export value of the city. The opening of the China EU train is not only conducive to the improvement of Shijiazhuang's international trade facilitation level, but also to the enhancement of international economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, and to the development of Shijiazhuang's "4 + 4" modern industry.
