On 26th Apr. 2016, Hebei Taitong International Transport Co.,LTD. (Hereinafter referred to as "Taitong Company") operated the first Hebei-Europe freight train, this is a land corridor that could arrive Europe directly from Huabei district. Baoding will become an important logistics node city of the country's "The Belt and Road" strategy.

The train starts from Baoding city, passes through Manzhouli City China, Russia, and arrives in Minsk, Belarus. The journey of 18,000 kilometers takes 15 days, greatly shortening the journey of 50 days by sea. The train loaded 41 containers at Baoding station, the weight about 1000mt. The cargo are steel products which will be used for infrastructure construction of China-Belarus trading and logistics park, mainly steel structures, structural steel, bolts, round steel and rebar. It is reported that total 500 containers, 10000mt of life supplies and other infrastructure materials will be delivered to Belarus. Next step, Taitong company will open two lines of cargo freight trains, started from Baoding, passing through Manzhouli, Post Baikal, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, and finally arrived in Moscow. The two lines will take 12-14 days on the way to Moscow, and 1-2 trains per week. The train could be increased according to the supply of the cargo.
