At 9:00 on September 18, 2021, the first sea-rail intermodal container train from Baoding Jingxiongbao International Wisdom Port entered Qinhuangdao Port Xingangwan Container Terminal, and the packed goods in the surrounding areas of Baoding will be transferred to Qinhuangdao Port, and then   transported to Incheon, South Korea on September 22 by the Qinren route "New Tulip", which marked a new level of green and efficient cross-border sea-rail multimodal transport in Qinhuangdao Port, and opened up a new sea-land channel of "Baoding- - Qinhuangdao Port - Incheon" .

Since the beginning of this year, under the support and guidance of the Land Transport Port Development Center of Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Qinhuangdao Port has actively implemented the spirit of the Hebei Provincial Coastal Economic Belt Construction Work Conference, continuously stepped up the pace of transformation and upgrading, actively promoted the construction of a modern comprehensive trade port, and adhered to the principle of "creating value for customers" "Service concept, accelerate the layout of inland ports, and cooperate with Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd. to investigate the supply of goods and the import and export needs of enterprises in the surrounding areas of Baoding, and to promote the optimization of the transportation structure of "road to rail" as the path, formulate the scheme of Jingxiong Bao International Wisdom Port + Qinhuangdao to overseas, A green and low-carbon sea-rail multimodal transport with strong timeliness and low cost . On September 9, a cooperation intention was reached to jointly cultivate and develop the new sea-land channel of "Baoding-Qinhuangdao Port-Incheon", enhance the hub status of the "Belt and Road" container international sea-rail combined transportation  in Hebei Province, reduce transportation costs and improve transportation efficiency for enterprises. Provide value-added services.

It is reported that the "Baoding-Qinhuangdao Port-Incheon" new sea-land corridor adopts the "container railway + container liner" transportation mode throughout the whole process, which has lower energy consumption and lower emissions than the previous road transportation mode. At the same time, the channel realizes the seamless connection between inland ports and coastal ports, and can simultaneously carry out domestic trade, foreign trade, "Belt and Road" and China-Europe trains, China-ASEAN trains transportation business, domestically radiate east and south China, and internationally radiate to Europe, the United States, and Japan, South Korea and Central Asia. It will effectively promote the circulation of goods and economic and trade exchanges between regions, and play an active role in building a new development pattern of "dual circulation".
