From October 19 to 20, 2021, The 8th China International Logistics Development Conference with the theme of "Contributing Duel Circulation, Sharing New Development" was held in Baoding city. Leaders of national ministries and commissions, diplomatic envoys in China, domestic and foreign experts and scholars, as well as elites in logistics field gathered at Baoding City in October to discuss the development of international logistics and seek a better future of international logistics development. Vice provincial governor Hu Qisheng delivered a speech and announced the opening of the conference. CPPCC economic committee, deputy director of the China international economic and exchange center, former party secretary of the state administration for market supervision and management Bi Jingquan, the president of Chinese transportation association, former Vice Minister of Railways, Hu Yadong, the president of China express association, and former Vice Ministry of Transport Gao Hongfeng, National Development and Reform Commission, director-general of the department of economic and trade Wang Jianjun, delivered their speech respectively. The President of the International Logistics and Transport Association Mr. Datuk Ridzak Malik delivered his speach via video link. Dang Xiaolong, Secretary of Baoding municipal party committee delivered a welcome speech, and Yan Jihong, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor presided over the opening ceremony.

Before and during the conference, 105 projects have been formed in the provincial, with a total investment of 137.02 billion yuan. Among of them, 28 projects which comply with industrial policies, pre-phase condition sufficient, as well as high quality projects with demonstration and leading activities were signed at the conference. The signed projects involved cross-border e-commerce platforms, the Belt and Road international logistics, containers cargo logistics, logistics hub construction, urban distribution logistics centers and other relevant field, with a total investment of RMB43.337 billion and RMB28.757 billion of the funds from outside the province and overseas. Among them, the signing of cooperation between Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd. and China-Arab States Industrial Investment Fund management enterprises was invited to the signing ceremony at the main forum, which was the only pair of cooperation signed by both private enterprises in the main venue.

On 20th, the branch forum which was undertaken by government of Lianchi District, Baoding city and Taitong International Transportation Co., LTD was kicked off, the theme of the forum was “The Belt and Road” interconnection development. As the organizer, Taitong International invited the well-known experts and scholars in domestic, diplomatic envoys from countries along the Belt and Road, and representatives of large enterprises in key fields such as railway and port to participate in the event, and carried out enthusiastic research and discussion on the development of "Belt and Road" connectivity

Spanning the Eurasian continent, the Belt and Road Initiative is a bridge between China and the world, it’s also a bond for countries along the routes to work together. Since its inception eight years ago, the Belt and Road Initiative has received positive responses from more and more countries. Infrastructure connectivity among countries along the Belt and Road has been deepened, international interconnection has been improved steadily, a large number of cooperation projects have taken root, and the Silk Road Economic Belt and maritime Silk Road corridors have been set up initially and are in operation.
