On May 17, 2022, Ye Changqing, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hebei Province, Sun Ning, Director of the Secretariat, Ji Hong, a first-level researcher of the Asian and African Division of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hebei Province, and others went to Baoding Belt and Road International Innovation and Exhibition Center for a field inspection. Baoding Foreign Affairs Office Director Zhang Linfeng, Deputy Director Wang Ying, Qiao Jianjun, Li Xingxing, Lianchi District Mayor Zhang Chao, Government Office Director Chen Peng, Baoding Cigarette Factory Director Zhang Taimin, Baoding Belt and Road Trade Promotion Association Chairman, Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd. Chairman Chu Xuan participated in the investigation, and then held a dispatching meeting to conduct on-site work to coordinate and solve related problems in the process of project advancement.

Mayor Zhang Chao and Chairman Chu Xuan explained to Director Ye the status quo and functional division of the Belt and Road International Innovation and Exhibition Center and conducted a field inspection.

At the symposium, Chairman Chu Xuan explained the overall planning of the Belt and Road International Innovation and Exhibition Center. He said that it will be built into a construction of a comprehensive industrial platform for inland ports with "Belt and Road" national pavilion as the main body, international direct procurement transactions as the core, and the Belt and Road Cultural Street as an aid,  basing on Port of Wisdom warehousing and distribution. The featured products of countries along the Belt and Road and the featured products of Baoding County will be brought into the museum for exhibition, display. Intelligent warehousing, green distribution and data management can be achieved upon entering the port, and the direct procurement model has been used to build an industrial platform of "selling the world and buying the world".

After listening to Chairman Chu Xuan's report, Mayor Zhang Chao said that he would seize development opportunities, do a good job in planning and design, formulate talent policies, list work lists for each department and ensure the timeliness of work, to build the Belt and Road International Innovation and Exhibition Center into an important external platform integrating economy and culture.

Finally, Director Ye said that Taitong International Transportation Co., Ltd., as one of the first batch of private enterprises participating in the construction of the Belt and Road, played an important role in promoting foreign exchanges. The Belt and Road International Innovation and Exhibition Center project should adhere to the goal-oriented, and at the same time it must be operable and sustainable, and make the Belt and Road International Innovation and Exhibition Center a landmark window for foreign exchanges.
