The first phase of Beijing-Xiongan-Baoding International Smart port project covers an area of 880 mu（Mu,a Chinese unit,here is about 533,328 square meters.

As a key construction project in Hebei Province and a major project in Baoding city,the port radiating the whole China and the countries along the " Belt &Road" on the base of Baoding. What’s more, It becomes an important logistics fulcrum and an integrated service platform for international trade and logistics to drive the linkage development of regional industrial chain and logistics supply chain. The project includes 7 functions are as following:

①the railway customs supervision operation center, ②the international logistics distribution center, ③the international commodities exhibition& trading center, ④the cross-border e-commerce incubation center, ⑤the“ Belt &Road” Research Center, ⑥the cross-border trade digital service platform, ⑦the "the Belt&Road" National Pavilion Exhibition Center.

Beijing-Xiongan-Baoding International Smart port was located in hinterland of ‘Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei’ Area. The specific location is in Lianchi District,Baoding City, at the southern west site of the intersection of the “East Second Ring Road”&the“South Second Ring Road”. It is about 2 kilometers away from the South Entrance of Baoding Expressway, Which can be access to connect with 6 High-way lines in the West Direction.(Beijing-Hongkong-Macao Expressway,Baoding-Cangzhou&Baoding-FupingExpressway, Zhangjiakou-ShijiazhuangExpressway,Beijing-KunmingExpressway, The National Highway-107). Within the extended transportation network in all directions ,here comes many quite unique geographical advantages . In order to assist the construction of xiong'an New Area in Hebei, also,to coordinate the rapid development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, The port had built an important cooperation relationship with Xiong'an Marketing Company，Meanwhile starting the implementation of the company's public railway project. The ore powder products of Baotou Steel loaded with container cars are loaded from Inner Mongolia, transported by railway to Beijing xiongbao International Smart port (Baoding), and then transported to various mixing stations by tank trucks through the combined transport of "Railway transport&Auto transport". This move initiated the transformation of Xiong'an marketing company and truly realized the large transportation volume, low cost and high efficiency of mineral powder transportation.
