On July 20th, the first Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" road-rail intermodal transport international train departed from Irkeshtan port.
The train takes the international mode of railway, transnational highway and overseas railway, starting from the Langfang North Railway freight yard of Beijing Bureau of China Railway, arriving in Kashgar, Xinjiang by railway transportation, changing to the transnational highway via Irkeshtan port, passing through Osh Station in Kyrgyzstan, to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, a total distance of about 6,000 kilometers. It is reported that the adoption of the combined transport mode, the transportation time can be saved by 3 to 5 days.
In order to ensure the smooth departure of the international railway train, the immigration police at the Irkeshtan entry-exit Border Checkpoint of the Xinjiang Entry-Exit Border Inspection General Station formulated service measures in advance, registered the freight vehicles in advance, and fully communicated with the Kyrgyzstan border inspection authorities on the customs clearance of the train.After the arrival of the freight train at the port, the border inspection station scientifically allocates police, adds inspection channels, opens the "Belt and Road Green channel", completes the customs clearance procedures within half an hour, and ensures the efficient and convenient customs clearance of the international freight trains.
